Jennifer Malme is a wine enthusiast and blogger from Vineland, New Jersey. She started the blog « bargain Wine Time » as a dare. A dare to drink my way through the wines recommended in George M. Taber’s book, A Toast to Bargain Wines.
She published an article this morning, about one of our wine : « I wanted to try Arogant Frog’s Croak Rotie ever since I saw the bottle in my local store. So far, this debonair frog hasn’t steered me wrong, and the idea of a red-white blend fascinated me. Not so much for my hubby. Every time we went to the store, he would find some excuse to try anything but this wine. So last weekend, while he was working, I picked up a bottle for myself. Yay!.. »
Her conclusion is :
« Personally, I enjoyed it as a sipping wine while watching Midnight in Paris!
Would I drink this wine again? Yes.
Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes.
Is it the best Red Wine I’ve every had? No, but it’s very good.
Should my readers try this wine? Absolutely! This wine is a steal at $9.99″

Wine Time
I found this wonderfull winemaker and would like to keep him a undiscovered, for when a winemaker who delivers such enjoyable wines is discovered the price always goes up. Although the wine the Arrogant Frog produces warrents this, I wish that the price will remain so reasonable. Were it not for me and others unable not to share this discovery with our friends, I might have some hope this could be true. I have been unwise in sharring my delight of these fine wines with my friends. Now I see, others have discovered where I am buying these wines for the shelf is always down to one or two bottles. I have only my self to blame. My friend behind the counter just ordered me a case so I have solved the problem…for now…I wonder can this be shipped by the cask?
